	How to Get Your CCHelper Site Indexed

In CCHelper do the following:
- Choose "Manage", "HTML Sections", "surname body", "Copy". Enter "summary" as the new section name and press OK. Copy-and-paste the following to replace the text and press OK:

- Choose "Manage", "Page Definitions", "Add". Enter the new page name as "summary page" and press OK. Enter "summary" in the DOS file name, a title is not required. Press "Add Section" and select the "summary" section (the one you added in the previous step) and press OK twice.
- Choose "Manage", "Counties", one of your counties, and "Edit". Press the "Add Page" and select the "summary page" (the one you added in the previous step) and press OK twice.
  Repeat this step for each of your counties.
- Each time you "Generate HTML", the summary files (e.g. summarya.htm, summarym.htm) will be generated.
FTP these files to your server along with your other CCHelper generated HTML files.

Next register your site:

Site Id: (e.g. OHGREENE)

For USGenWeb sites, use the 2 character state code followed by the first 6 characters of the county name, omitting punctuation and spaces.
For WorldGenWeb sites, use 'WG' followed by the first 6 characters of the country name, omitting punctuation and spaces.
With QueryExpress.
Without QueryExpress.

Site Id: (e.g. OHGREENE)

You will be prompted for your password, enter it and then click "Get Site Info".
Once you see the Site Info for your site, click on "Add a new index module using the CCHelper method" at the bottom of the page and then click the SUBMIT button.

If you change the surbreak control settings in the future you should use the Site Manager's Utility to reflect those changes.

Surname Helper is a surname engine for queries and surname registrations posted on various genealogy sites. Participating sites include many USGenWeb and WorldGenWeb sites. All GenConnect boards are indexed in Surname Helper. Surname Helper is also used by the USGenWeb QueryExpress system for registering counties.
